Ozzy Osbourne Apollo Theatre Manchester, England 1980/09/23 vg+ aud One CD, 13 tracks, TT: 61:22 This MIGHT be the COMPLETE show ; I'm unsure. Sound quality: Very good plus. 8.0-8.5/10 IMHO, as always. Lineage: Unknown mic > unknown analog tape recorder > unknown master tape > Maxell XLII 90 high bias cassette tape, unknown gen > JVC TD-W505 stereo double cassette deck > AIWA XC-RW700 CD/CD recorder (created tracks here) > SONY CD-R AUDIO 80 min. music CD-R > Cakewalk Pyro 2005 (ripped CD-R to HD here) > Cakewalk Pyro 2005 (retracked and edited wav files here) > Trader's Little Helper (encoded wav to flac, level 8, aligned on sector boundaries) All thanks and praise go to killerwolf13 for making this available to all of you John Osbourne fans (who's he ?). He sent me several tapes that I'm converting to CD-R for him and this is one of those. The SQ of this is very good plus so enjoy it and thank killerwolf13 for his great generosity. I was NOT at this show so this description will be very short. Clear vocals and instruments. No distortion, no speed problems, intermittent mild hiss. Hardly any audience talking. Ozzy's stage banter is a bit hard to understand. Nothing else bad to report so enjoy this one. This may be a liberated bootleg but it's not listed in Hot Wacks so I don't know. Hey, I'm just like Ozzy ; I don't know. Didja get it ? I don't know. That's about all that I know about this show so if you have any questions about tape generation, etc., post a question to killerwolf13 in this torrent. There are a few more audio treasures to come... That's about all that I have to say, so let's wrap this up. No buy, no sell, no mp3. Please seed this as long as you can. I will post a sample to help people decide if they want this but trust me, it's not bad at all, especially for a 1980 analog audience tape. Listen to this on headphones for an enjoyable experience! Well, thanks for reading this and Mr. Natural would like to add these few comments: have fun, don't freak out and by all means, enjoy the concert!!!
